OtorCalc

Board at its best 

Used by design departments, OtorCalc determines the recommended vertical compression strength according to the logistics, transport and product requirements. It also calculates composition of the board depending on the type of box, the manufacturing requirements, the dimensions and vertical compression strength required by the customer.
OtorCalc comes up with a faster technical response to the customer’s request and provides a uniform answer when several people are consulted for the same request.

Prodsim

The study of interactions between inner and outer packaging.

Prodsim was developed to reduce the weight of transport packaging for semi-load-bearing products such as plastic bottles, thermoformed containers, compact cardboard boxes, etc.

Prodsim determines the compressive strength of transport packaging by taking into account the compressive resistance of the products in their admissible deformation area. After automatic equating of components, Prodsim simulates the total deformation and compression of the "products + packaging" unit according to a large number of variables.

Value analysis

Otor has developed Save to simulate the complete cost of alternate solutions in order to highlight the most important areas of development to be studied for new packaging.
Value analysis is part of Otor's innovation policy. Its implementation is systematic, both in-house, to design optimised packaging and production facilities, and outside the company, to determine the best global cost of the "product/packaging” unit during its life cycle.
In partnership with its customers, Otor is able to conduct value analyses of systems integrating material costs, packaging, storage, transport, warehousing, distribution and waste elimination.
