1975

Launching of the first corrugated board disk to replace the traditional wooden one used to package camembert cheese.

1988 – Production line productivity

Launching of the “Otor 4” case: first Otor case erected mechanically on an Otor Systems machine based on the principle of wrapping a flat blank around a mandrel.

1990 – Product differentiation and source reduction

Launching of the 8-sided "Otor 8" case erected mechanically on an Otor Systems machine based on the principle of wrapping a flat blank around a mandrel.

The mitred edges reduce the amount of board used for an identical useful volume and increase the compressive strength.

They also improve visibility of the case on the shelf.

2001 - Logistical optimisation

Launching of the Otorpal corrugated board pallet.

2004 – Weight reduction

Launching of the Hightray erected mechanically on an Otor Systems machine at a rate of 60 trays/min. First lightweight tray consisting of 3 x 100 g papers.

2005 – Multi-function packaging

Otor Dispal: multi-purpose packaging for shelf display and promotion
