ENVIRONMENTAL CHARTER

In order to make a concrete contribution to sustainable development, Otor has implemented the following environmental charter:

1/ Conformance with the environmental legislation on all production sites by monitoring the regulations and making the necessary investments according to its financial capacities.

2/ Continuation of the company’s development policy aimed at reducing the weight of packaging and producing the corresponding paper (in accordance with the principles of the European Directive).

3/ Reduction in water consumption per tonne of paper produced in order to protect water resources.

4/ Reduction in the consumption of fossil fuel per tonne of paper by using innovative heat processes to reduce atmospheric emissions.

5/ Monitoring and ongoing improvement of the efficiency of treatment systems.

6/ Development of a lasting, global solution for the company’s recycling of ultimate waste (slushing waste) by heat recycling.

7/ Prevention and control of accidental site pollution by developing the capacity to react quickly and inform the authorities concerned with complete openness and transparency.
